In 1998-1999 we provided financial assistance to help 32 children be adopted from 5 different countries.   When A Child Waits first began, we started with a low-interest loan program but quickly realized the need for adoption grants.  Below, are some of wonderful pictures which were shared with us by families that were helped with our financial assistance. 

Since some of the first children we helped to come home were older children at the time of their adoption, we can imagine some of the children depicted here now have families of their own.
